Little (2009)

Directed by: Sigrid Andrea Bernardo

Jose, nicknamed “Little”, turns his back on his father and the family farm for a bigger life in Manila. Yet all best laid plans don’t quite work out as he intends.

Little is a story about masculinity, love, and family. A touching and humorous look at the maturation of a provincial boy and his blooming romance.

Babae (2005)

Directed by: Sigrid Andrea Bernardo

Babae (Woman) is a coming of age story of two women set in the city slum community beside railroad tracks. They became bestfriends, shared dreams and eventually started a family when a child accidentally entered their lives.

Babae won Best Director award in Cinemalaya 2005 and Best Short Film in Festival Internazionale di Cinema Gaylesbico e Queer Culture di Milano, also in 2005.

Little and Babae will be screened on Saturday, 25 February 2012 at Kanto.
